My favourite French restaurant in town. Old school food done very well. It won't be around forever so try it soon.

Food was amazing. Great place to go when you want to spend some time and enjoy the meal. Don't go if you are in a rush. There are 2 people taking care of everything: the chef making all dishes and desserts. The host serving tables and taking care of her guests. It's almost like you're in their home as guests. Food - Had fresh morel mushrooms in a delicious cream sauce served in a pastry crust. Also had rack of lamb which was good. Best of all was the fresh made apple galette with ice cream. Dessert and mushrooms were so good we went back again at lunch to have them. Can;t wait to go back.

Family owned, highest quality food and service one could hope for. True French chef, definitely a place you will never regret for a special occasion or just an amazing date night.

Went there for dinner only to find out they just closed because they had no one. They don’t seem to stick to the restaurant hours on Google, which was a bit disappointing because we drove to this area to eat here.

Incredibly delicious food! Paella was fantastic! Great service. Will be back.

This is my very favourite date-night restaurant! What lacks in decor is definitely exceeded by the food the chef prepares as if he is in his own family home....EXQUISITE! Chose to spend the evening by pleasing yourselves with pairings of 5 or more fantastic courses from pate, escargots, soups, fish or shellfish, rabbit, quail or whatever the chef has on special all ending with a collage of French pastries, pies, geese cakes, tarts, galettes, creme brûlée or creme caramel to the assorted cheeses along abundance of champagne, wine, and liqueurs. A meal to come back to with new memories each visit.

We visited with our 3y old twin boys. The food was amazing. Our picky eaters ate bone marrow on bread, frog legs, and we had the best French fries there. The lamp chop was awsome too. Our favorite dish was this seasonal dish of baked tomato and ground meat.

An absolute jewel on the Waterfront, an authentic French dining experience, including the leisurely service. The paella was one of the best I've had outside of Spain.

Le Vol Au Vent is a hidden gem in plain sight. While visiting in Whiterock from Toronto I dropped in for lunch. This is a well run family owned restaurant. The Parisian trained owner-chef and his delightful and attentive wife, who expertly manages the front shop offer a wonderful food experience for this seashore community which ironically attracts mostly US patrons during non tourist season. The patio is noisy from passing traffic so you may choose to sit in the inner sanctum of this cozy restaurant. Be adventurous with your selection of imaginative and professionally prepared meals...then you must order the cheesecake with both berry sauces. This warm creamy concoction will make your day. Bon appetit

A hidden gem in White Rock. Lovely older couple runs this french restaurant. They offer a rotating daily menu as well as a regular. The wife who also served us was delightful and highly recommended the seafood paella to us. We also shared duck pate and she taught us how to eat it. Everything was delicious. Perfect place for sunday lunch out by the patio with a glass of wine.

I agree with the other reviews: great place , very friendly staff and the food was delicious. We had the duck and it was perfectly made. Great accompanying wine. The classical music suited the atmosphere perfectly

This place is good and quiet the waitress talks a mile a minute it took 2 hours for us to leave. Lucky we put 2 hours in the parking meter. My back was killing me leaving this place I'm not there to talk. I just want to talk to my hubby and enjoy his company. It wasn't enough food either I came away starving 30 minutes later

The place is really nice. Best dinning experience ever. Impressive and fun. The chef work very hard, and the food is amazing. I ordered duck as appetizer, the owner teach me how to eat it, how to put the garlic on the bread, very patient. My friend ordered sea food, the soup is nice, the owner still teach my friend to put the bread into the soup, make it soft, then the taste will be amazing. I will definitely come back soon during dine out event. Thank you for give us a perfect experience.

There in summer of 2017 from Ontario visiting family in White Rock. Just stopped in by chance. So good we took the whole family. Amazing food, outstanding service, perfection! Going back to White Rock this fall and already can't wait to revisit Vol Au Vent. Highlight of our trip. If paella is on menu, try it. Best ever and plenty for sharing. Don't miss this place.

Authentic and friendly. Lobster bisque great. My wife and I love these kind of places where the main object is to enjoy a great meal, not in a rush to eat something and then off to something else.
